The Key Initiative Muse “Risks & Vectors” gathers actors linked to the University of Montpellier and whose activity concerns vector-borne diseases.
This community aims to develop innovative and sustainable approaches for the understanding of emergence risks, surveillance and control of these vector-borne diseases that can affect or infect humans, animals or plants.
As DIAG4ZOO has collaborated in the past with several academic teams to develop tests for pathogen detection or exposure measurement to certain infectious agents, the company became a member of this Montpellier University of Excellence Initiative upon its fundation in January 2021.
The “One Health” Summer School organized by the KIM “Risks & Vectors” (September 7-10, 2021, Montpellier, France) aims to introduce master students to the concept of “One Health”, as well as the actors involved in this field. In this context, DIAG4ZOO will present its activity, its expertise in molecular biology (biosensor), its diagnostics, and its biological analysis services related to infectious or vector-borne diseases.
